Beginning Cross Stitch

Have you always admired the beautiful and intricate work of cross-stitch, but were not sure how to get started? This workshop is for you! In this class, you’ll learn how to follow patterns, the different grid types, and of course stitching techniques. We’ll have a variety of mini patterns available to choose from along with all materials. We’ll be turning our creations into fabric backed bookmarks. This class is limited to 8 people, so there is time for 1-1 help. Children 10+ may attend with adult.

This workshop is taught by Bobbie Anderson, a Kitsap local who cross-stitched and quilted her way through graveyard shifts for police and 911 dispatch jobs. Now retired, she continues her love of crafting and is full of tips and tricks to share with you.
