In this 6 week class, students will use recycled materials, everyday objects and a variety of mixed media to create original artwork in the pop art style. We will explore the works of artists such as Warhol, Haring, and Lichenstein, while experimenting with color, line, shape, repetition, exaggeration and more. Our exploration will include a history of the pop art movement and it’s common characteristics.
