Terra Create – What’s Inside

Each kit contains an assortment of quality materials needed to learn a crafting skill and complete the project. All kits contain instructions with photos and detailed steps, as well as a short learning module discussing the history, science, or cultural significance of the theme or project. These bit size lessons are great for home-schoolers as a launching point to further inquiry. Past lessons have included a history of fortune cookies, the physics of wind chimes and how chocolate is made.

We've thought carefully about what you'll need to do a project, and include the appropriate tools. While you may need to use your own pencil or scissors, we don't assume that you'll have less common tools. So, if a project needs a wire cutter, we send one! If a project needs leaves, we'll send some artificial ones just in case you live in the desert or are snowed-in and can't collect any. It's our goal, that when the mood strikes to create, our kits can be whipped out and ready to go!
