Dream Maker Creative is the place for Kitsap County kids and teens who enjoy creating. Our classes and camps are short-term commitments that allow youth to try out something new in a safe, inclusive and friendly creative studio. While some offerings are pure fun with little educational value (messy crafts for example), most of our workshops will challenge kids to think outside the box and flex their design and engineering minds. Crafting instills confidence and a sense of accomplishment that is often missing from academic programs. We want youth to be free to explore and consider different ways of thinking through a problem.

Past Camps - Summer 2022
July 19th - 21st | Ages 10 - 14
This camp features a little bit of everything centered around one theme - space! We’ll flex our mechanical and engineering skills making shoe box rovers designed to perform certain missions. Art and science will blend together as we study and make textured art inspired by planetary surfaces. We’ll imagine alien life forms and sew them into mini plushies. And we’ll learn a little electronics as we make light up constellation art.
July 12 - 14th | Ages 9 - 14
Bring some color and whimsy to your garden in this hands-on maker camp. We’ll be creating a variety of outdoor accessories such as wind chimes, wind spinners, whimsical flower pots, birdhouses and sun dials. Campers will learn artisan crafting skills while working with metal, wire, wood, clay and more. These projects will allow for discussion and learning about physics, nature and more.
July 5th - 7th | Ages 6 - 12
All the crafts you don't want to do at home because of the mess. We'll be making slime with glitter! Using squirt guns to make abstract art masterpieces. Pouring paint onto ceramic items to create marbled effects. And more messy fun.
