Classes are held at various locations throughout Kitsap County and are listed in the details for each event. Our old location at 736 Lebo is permanently closed. Advanced payment/registration is required to hold your spot and will close 48 hours before the event. No drop-ins, unless you've checked with us and confirmed it's okay. For most adult classes, teens are welcome to attend with a parent/guardian.
Learn simple macrame techniques while creating 3 mini plant hangers. Each one will measure 12 – 15″ in length and give you the chance to practice beginner knots including square, spiral, wrapping, half hitch and more. We’ll have a few cord colors to choose from. Then select from a variety of wood pieces, shells and tillandsia plants to finish off your creations. We’ll also discuss how to care for your air plants.
This class is held at Ridgeline Brewing in Bremerton and requires a pre-paid ticket. All materials and plants included in class. Food and beverages are available for purchase from the brewery. This class is for ages 12 to adult, but an adult must remain onsite (either as participant or just hanging out at brewery) for any minors.
Do you love those multi wicked candles in the wood bowls you see at all the gift shops? Now’s your chance to make your own. Each participant will make a soy wax candle in a rustic dough bowl measuring roughly 10″ x 5″ and will hold 3 wicks and 14-16 oz wax. While waiting for the large candle to setup, we’ll make 2 small 4 oz container candles in tins or jars. A variety of fragrance oils, colors and dried floral add-ins will be available to enhance and customize your candles.
This workshop is for adults and teens (ages 12 – 15 with adult). Pre-registration required 3 days prior to class to hold your spot.
Join us to transform wood and mesh bird houses into rustic fairy cottages set in a portable mini garden. This is your chance to create a one of a kind fairy residence that can live inside your home or out. We’ll have a variety of materials such as rocks, moss, bark, sticks, flat marbles, paint, cement, wood slices, and more along with some figurines and accessories to add some fun detail. Your fairy landscape will be built in a metal pan that will serve as a shallow planter so you can add some real ground cover or moss and a few plants that don’t require deep roots.
This workshop is for both children and adults, but we recommend ages 6 and older and all children must attend with an adult. We will be using hot glue guns and cement so you be the judge on whether your child can safely handle these materials and has the attention span for a two hour workshop. An adult and child or two adults may work together on one project.
