In this hands-on workshop, you’ll construct a small journal with real leather and handmade cotton paper. You’ll bind the book with your choice of cord colors and add embellishments such as charms, beads and leather shapes. You’ll have access to our leather tools and scraps so that you carve a name or meaningful word into the cover, or add other personal touches to your journal. This could make a heartfelt gift for a loved one, or a gift to yourself where you can record your thoughts and dreams. Each journal is about 5×7 inches and holds 200 pages. A handy portable size! This workshop is for ages 12 to adult, and ages 12-15 must attend with an adult. Pre-registration required 48 hours before workshop. Workshops with less than four people may be cancelled, so invite your friends!
