Learn the basics of embroidery in this gentle, three-hour workshop featuring “Orcas in the Sound”. We will be stitching this beginner landscape based on the majestic creatures who frequent Puget Sound. All materials are covered in the class cost. You will learn how to transfer a pattern, four useful stitches (plus a few extra if we have time), and how to finish the project in the hoop. Most students will get about half of their project done in class. You don’t need to bring anything to class. No experience necessary.
Stitches We Will Learn:
Straight Stitch – Satin Stitch – Split Stitch – Seed Stitch
