Have fun learning to make your own chunky knit blanket! This DIY workshop teaches you the art of creating a cozy, soft and plush blanket with your own hands. Create something special that’ll make your home even more inviting, with yarn that’s perfect for cuddling up in. These can be whipped up in one day so are a perfect handmade gift. We are using a super plush chenille yarn, that it machine washable and dryable on gentle.
This workshop is for ages 12+, but under 16’s must attend with an adult. No observers – all participants must have a pre-paid ticket.
Please choose your 1st and 2nd color choices (or you may mix colors and do rows of each). We will do our best to meet your requests, but cannot control future availability from our supplier. It’s best to register early, so that we can get your yarn ordered.
Base price includes enough yarn to make a 40″ x 50″ lap blanket. You will finish 1/3 to 1/2 in class, maybe more, then go home with the remaining yarn and skills to complete your project. Extra skeins available at $8 each
