Learn Shibori, a traditional Japanese method of creating fabric patterns through folding, binding, twisting, and clamping.
This workshop focuses on pattern design and resist techniques, while using fiber-reactive dyes for vibrant, lasting color with simple setup. You will experiment with several Shibori methods and dye your own custom textiles. Unlike our past Shibori classes that focused solely on indigo, we will have multiple color options available.
All materials are provided, including four large cotton tea towels. You may also bring one small cotton item to personalize.
This class is held and and ticketed through Olympic College Bremerton, but taught by Dream Maker Creative. As such, this class is not eligible for use with gift cards or discounts.
