Most classes are held at Dream Maker Creative, an art studio located in north Gig Harbor/Key Peninsula area. Check out directions and studio photos here. However, we do hold classes at breweries, shops, community centers, etc. throughout Kitsap, Pierce, and Mason counties so always check the location.
Advanced payment/registration is required to hold your spot and will close 72 hours before the event (sometimes extended). No drop-ins, unless you've checked with us and confirmed it's okay. For most adult classes, teens aged 12+ are welcome to attend with a parent/guardian. Classes where this is not the case will be noted. Classes that don't meet the minimum number of attendees may be cancelled and refunded.
Learn beginner resin skills while creating your choice of a bamboo serving board or tray that’s perfect for charcuterie or a pair of 15oz stemless wine glasses. Several styles of boards will be available plus a 14×10 tray. You can create a beautiful ocean-inspired design or create a color scheme and design of your choice. In this hands-on session, we’ll guide you through the step-by-step process of working with epoxy resin, pigments, and various techniques for achieving a mesmerizing aesthetic. As a bonus, you’ll get to practice with two bamboo coasters before moving on to your main project.
All resin projects will need to stay with us to cure and boards/coasters may need a second coat and/or sanding. Projects will be ready for pickup in 5-7 days after class.
This workshop is for ages 16+. Space is limited and pre-registration required. We need to know your project choice ahead of time in order to be setup and ready to go at class time. So please give us a count for the people you are registering for.

In this two evening session, you will learn how to transfer a design, safely carve a linoleum block, apply ink, and create multiple prints from a single carving. Choose from a variety of supplied patterns or create your own design to produce greeting cards, gift tags, and small art prints perfect for gifting, decorating, or framing.
No drawing skills are required as traceable designs will be available. You’ll also gain an understanding of printmaking tools, materials, and techniques, including image transfer, carving methods, inking, and registration.
All materials are included and you’ll go home with your re-usable stamps, plus at least 6 cards or prints.

Discover the beautiful Japanese art of kinusaiga, a no-sew technique that creates colorful, quilt-like pictures by tucking fabric into grooves cut into a surface. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll choose from two winter sky designs and a variety of fabrics to create your own 8″ x 8″ framed artwork. Learn the basics of selecting and arranging fabrics, working with patterns, and carefully tucking fabric into place to create a finished piece full of color and texture. No sewing skills or previous experience needed. All materials included. Ages 16+.
Paint Parties are a fun way to gather with some friends and enjoy a creative night out. Each party will focus on recreating a different painting on a 12 x 16 canvas using acrylic paints. Follow along and learn with our guided instruction, or create your own personal masterpiece. Don’t draw? That’s okay, a traceable will be provided. Our focus is on fun, not art skills – though most people are surprised just how good their paintings turn out! Prepaid ticket required – no walk-ins.
Paint Nights at Moment Brewing are open to teens and adults (teens must attend with an adult). Your paint night ticket includes one beer or cider, or two sodas. Food is available for purchase from the venue.

Learn simple macrame techniques while creating mini trees to use in your holiday decor. You’ll learn several methods for tree-making while practicing beginner knots such as square, wrapping, half hitch and more. During class, you will have time to make 2 free-standing shelf sitters plus a few ornaments, or make all ornaments if you prefer. We’ll have white, sky blue, red and green cord colors, plus wood beads, stars and other embellishments.

Have fun learning to make your own chunky knit blanket! This DIY workshop teaches you the art of creating a cozy, soft and plush blanket with just your fingers. This is not arm knitting. Create something special that’ll make your home even more inviting, with yarn that’s perfect for cuddling up in. These can be whipped up in one day so are a perfect handmade gift.
This workshop is for ages 12+, but under 16’s must attend with an adult. No observers – all participants must have a pre-paid ticket.
Yarn Options
New this year, you may supply your own or we can order for you. Yarn is not included in the base price of the class ($40).
Option A – Bring your own
You will need 3 lbs (1400g) of super jumbo (size 7) chenille yarn to make a roughly 3 foot x 4 foot lap blanket. KNITTING SIZE: US 50 (25 mm), 2.5 stitches – 2.5 rows = 4 inches, diameter = 3/4 inch. Do not get a larger diameter yarn. You may substitute other fibers, but pay attention to size and gauge as you may end up with not enough for your desired size of blanket.
Option B – We’ll buy for you (+ $45)
We’ve chosen a super plush chenille polyester yarn that matches the above specs. We’re including 3lbs of yarn which will make a roughly 3 foot x 4 foot lap blanket and you can order extra. Each additional skein will add roughly 1 foot x 2 foot to the finished size. With our yarn, most people finish 1/3 to 1/2 in class, maybe more. We buy in bulk and have it shipped which saves $ over local craft retailers. You may choose 1 or 2 colors and order additional yarn at $8 per skein (collected on day of class).
Ever wanted to create your own unique multi-wicked candles in those charming wood dough bowls? Now’s your chance! Join us and craft your very own soy wax candle in a rustic dough bowl (roughly 10″ x 5″), equipped with 3 wicks and holding 14-16 oz of wax. While we wait for the large candle to set, you’ll make two small 4 oz container candles. You’ll have fun combining different fragrances, colors, and dried floral accents to personalize your creations.
This workshop is open to adults and teens (ages 12-15 with an attending adult). Remember to register at least 3 days prior to the class to secure your spot.
